CG PPT also referred as Chhattisgarh Pre Polytechnic Test which is a state level polytechnic entrance test regulated by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB). This exam offers an opportunity for students seeking for admissions in diploma courses in engineering & technology offered by various institutions of the state of Chhattisgarh. CG PPT 2017 Application Form has been released. Through this article, candidates can check the information regarding CG PPT 2017 examination.

CG PPT 2017 Application Form

  • The CG PPT 2017 Application Form is available from 28th March 2017.
  • Candidates can fill the application form only via online mode through the official website of the authority (link is given above).
  • Candidates are required to pay application fee of Rs.200/- for general candidates, Rs.150/- for OBC category and Rs.100/- for SC/ST candidates.
  • The fee payment can be made through debit/credit card. The last date to submit the application form will be 19th April 2017.

Eligibility Criteria

Check the eligibility criteria below:
  • Candidates must have passed 10th or equivalent exam with mathematics and science subjects from any recognized board with securing at least 35% marks.
  • Candidates must have passed in mathematics and science separately.
  • Candidates should hold domicile of Chhattisgarh.
  • The maximum age should not be more than 30 years as on or before 1st July 2017.
  • Candidates appearing in qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

CG PPT Exam Pattern

Check the exam pattern below:
  • Type of Questions: The question paper will contain multiple choice questions with one correct answer.
  • No of Questions: There will be total 150 questions.
  • Duration: Candidates will get total three hours duration to solve the paper.
  • Using Ink: Candidates are required to use only blue or black point pen for answering.
  • Negative Marking: Candidates note down there will be no negative marking in this exam.
  • Subjects: The CG PPT syllabus will contain physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects.

CG PPT 2017 Admit Card

Candidates who have successfully registered for the examination will be able to download the CG PPT 2017 Admit Card through the official website of the authority. The admit card will be released from the last week of April 2017. Candidates note down it is mandatory to bring the admit card at the examination centre.

CG PPT 2017 Result

The CG PPT 2017 Result will be published in the first week of June 2017. Candidates can check their results through the official website of the board. Candidates are advised to preserve the result till the admission process is finished. Merit list will be prepared separately for all the categories on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination.
CG PPT 2018 (Chhattisgarh Pre Polytechnic Test) is a state level entrance exam. This exam will by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB). Through this exam, candidates will  get admission to the Engineering Diploma courses in the various institutions of the state. The application form will be provided from the 3rd week of March 2018.

CG PPT 2017 Counselling

The counselling process will be conducted through online process. The CG PPT 2017 Counsellingprocedure will start from the last week of June 2017. Candidates will be called for counselling process on the basis of ranks secured by the candidates. Seats will be allotted to students on the basis of their rank and choices filled by them.
